Painting day! More than half of us went to finish painting
rooms at CCJ. Aside from the hole on the paint container that turned Jordan’s
and Danilo’s shoes into a “nice” golden color, everything went really well. Of
course we were quite tired at the end, but there is something so rewarding
about helping other people. We had fun talking about random stuff, we commented
on each other’s good work and it was a great atmosphere of camaraderie.
And
Michele cleaned Jordan’s and Danilo’s shoes and restored them to their original
black and white colors, which made Danilo’s mom and Jordan’s wife very happyJ
Even though we were
thrilled to learn that we were done with project, I believe every one that
worked today went home feeling like they accomplished a lot today to help the
folks at CCJ.
