We didn't really get lost, but we grabbed a map and started another adventure in Brazil! This time we were given some specific places to check out. On our way to the places, I observed the busy people in the streets. Most of them were trying to get home or shop at the local feira; the local feira had everything you can imagine! Shoes, clothes, food, etc
My favorites sites that we visited were the Theatro José Alencar and Catedral Metropolitana de Fortaleza. The theater is in good shape and well kept. It was fun to walk up and down the pretty staircase and imagine the audience arriving to watch a performance.
After visiting the theater we went to see the Catedral Metropolitana de Fortaleza, built by the catholic church in 1938 and finished in 1978. The style is gothic and it is absolutely beautiful. We were not able to go in, but we will tomorrow!
This grandeur of this building is that of a Temple, and I can't wait to see it tomorrow.
