We toured the Projeto Tamar, a beautiful park by the beach that serves as a habitat for a a variety of turtle species. Here I saw the biggest turtle I have ever seen!
It was amazing to see this gigantic animal swim around the pool and lift her head to greet her visitors:)
I learned that just like there is a variety of sizes of turtles, there is also a variety of turtle shells.
We ended our educational/fun visit to the park by going to the beach, where the water was so clear we could see our feet when we stood in the ocean.
